Choose Your Typing Practice Route
This interactive hub routes you to focused drills for speed, accuracy, weak keys, keyboard zones, numbers, consistency, and endurance. Choose the metric holding you back, practice it now, and use the session results to select your next drill. If you need a repeatable schedule instead, follow the daily typing practice plan.
How to use the practice hub
Begin with one normal run instead of your personal best. Look at correct WPM, accuracy, repeated error keys, and how much your pace changes from the beginning to the end. Those signals identify a useful route more reliably than choosing the drill that sounds hardest.
Choose accuracy when mistakes are spread across the text, weak keys when the same characters keep failing, and keyboard zones when one row, hand, or finger area feels unstable. Use speed only after clean input is repeatable. Choose consistency when results swing between runs and endurance when performance fades during longer sessions. Number practice isolates keypad, number-row, decimal, and formatted-entry work.
Keep the comparison fair: use the same duration and similar difficulty, complete several runs, and compare the median rather than one unusually high score. Switch routes when the targeted problem stops dominating your results—not simply when one session feels easy. A focused drill is a diagnostic training block, not a complete curriculum, so return here whenever your limiting metric changes.
Record the date, drill, duration, median WPM, and median accuracy after each block. That small log tells you whether improvement transfers beyond a familiar prompt. Retest with mixed text before moving on, because memorizing one sequence is not the same as improving general keyboard control.
